2024 White Oak Client Letter
2023 was a year where economies and capital markets transitioned from danger to opportunity. Our research and outlook enabled our clients to avoid the consensus opinion and were rewarded. Unfortunately, many investors were overcome with fear and stayed on the sidelines while markets recovered and ultimately finished the year with substantial gains.
We believe the macro economic landscape is poised to support further gains in 2024. We expect those gains to occur among a wider range of asset classes beyond large cap U.S. tech companies and have made tactical changes to our portfolio strategies to take advantage of this environment.
